Meet Piper!

Piper the Cockapoo has been part of the Wagging Tails pack for eight months. During her visits, she loves getting cuddles from the staff almost as much as we love giving them to her!

When Piper isn’t at the resort, her owner Monica tells us this 18-month-old cutie-pie has two unique habits.

First, Piper’s very particular about her bones. Whenever she gets a new one, she wants Monica to hold it while she chews, but just long enough for her to get started. Once Piper gets going, she’ll carry it off and hide it.

Piper’s other habit involves her floppy toy beaver. Each night before bed, she finds it, carries it around in her mouth, and whines. Then, Piper takes it up to her bed and puts it to sleep.

Monica says that Piper’s less charming habit is that she barks a lot, and she teased that she thinks she learned it at doggy daycare. But Monica says everything makes Piper extra special and adds, “The good and the bad make her who she is, and I just love her.”

But what’s the best part of having Piper in her life? “Coming home, she’s so excited to see me,” Monica told us, “her whole body wags.”

We also have to agree with Monica – Piper has the cutest face; it’s very expressive, especially her eyebrows!
