Meet Kevin!

Kevin is a two-year-old Lab mix who has been part of our pack since he was approximately 16 weeks old. His owner, Ann, adopted him from the Humane Society, but this sweet boy is originally from somewhere in Texas.

It’s hard to pick one thing that Kevin loves most about his visits to The Resort – that’s because he seems to love EVERYTHING!

For Kevin, the fun starts when he walks in the front door. He stops to sniff everything in the lobby on his way back to the play areas and takes charge by barking at people.

And, of course, he also loves playing with all of his friends!

The only thing Kevin might love more than his visits to WTPR is a Pup Cup. Ann told us that if she asks Kevin if he’d like a Pup Cup, he jumps right into the car and hangs out the window when they pull into Starbucks.

When Kevin isn’t at The Resort or starting his day at Starbucks, he loves spending time at home with his human and canine siblings and lounging in Ann’s bed. In fact, that’s his first stop when he gets home from doggy daycare – and he even tucks himself in at night if his family stays up too late!

Ann also says that Kevin is very sweet and even-tempered, except when supervising activity in The Resort lobby.

“We got Kevin when he was 11 weeks old, and he had already been adopted and returned to the Humane Society before we adopted him,” Ann said. “His rescue background might make his capacity for love and loyalty even stronger. It feels like he loves everyone in our family extra hard.”

It’s also impossible to resist his floppy ears.

But what’s the best part about having Kevin in your life?

“We went to the Humane Society looking for a small dog, and we came home with Kevin!” Ann said. “He is just about the best dog ever and we love him so much. He fits right into our family.”
