Looking Back on 2019

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost time to ring in the new year. But, before we sit down to outline our goals and resolutions for the new year, we wanted to celebrate a few of our 2019 accomplishments.

Our first year as owners of WTPR were busy, and we’ve felt blessed every day to have you as part of our pack. We knew from Day One that we wanted to leave your favorite features at The Resort untouched. Instead, we’ve set our sights on improving your experience in more subtle ways, like updating our security, web cameras, the suites and luxury suites, and dividers in playrooms.

Additional updates in 2019 included:

  • Completely revamping the website. These much-needed updates include larger camera feeds, a refreshed blog layout, and bigger images. Now when you visit waggingtailspetresort.com, you have a better experience, whether you’re on your laptop, tablet, or cellphone.
  • New high-definition cameras. We also installed new, high-definition cameras in all the playrooms and play yards at both of our locations. This update makes it easier than ever to watch your dog on any device, even if you’re on the go!
  • Eight new luxury suites. No room at the inn? That’s not a problem anymore! We added more of our boarding suites in Eagan and made them even more homey by adding a television and webcam. And you can log in any time day or night to check on them while you’re away.

On top of these updates, we were also proud and humbled that your votes helped us win Sidewalk Dog readers “Best Doggy Daycare in the Twin Cities.” We take this award very seriously and promise to make sure that Happy Dogs continue to Play (and Stay!) at WTPR — and that you continue having the best experience too as pet parents.

Now, 2019 may be coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean our hard work is done. As we move into the new year, we’ll continue working to improve and expand on our services and play yards. These important changes are essential for the safety of your dogs and our employees, and they’ll enable us to open our playrooms to even more dogs in the future.

Happy Holidays!
