UPDATE: COVID-19 Service Changes from WTPR
Dear Wagging Tails Pack,
The guidelines surrounding COVID-19 are constantly evolving. Since our last communication, there’s still no evidence that dogs can become sick with COVID-19 or infect humans. However, in light of recent recommendations, we have decided to take additional steps for the safety of you and our staff.
Service and Policy Updates
As of Sunday, March 22, 2020, we’re temporarily suspending some of our services to reduce personal interactions at WTPR. These services include:
- Playdays (daycare)
- Canine Spa (grooming)
- Obedience Academy (training)
Wagging Tails WILL REMAIN OPEN for Overnights (Boarding) in Bloomington and Eagan, but they will require a minimum 2-night stay.
As noted in previous communications, we are taking additional precautions and social distancing measures to increase the safety of our staff and customers, including:
- Curbside Pick-up & Drop-off
- Extensive Cleaning Protocol
- Requiring Reservations – walk-ins will be turned away
At this time, we are also restricting our Lobby Areas to staff only. You can read more about these safety measures in our previous blog post.
We’ll miss seeing your dogs for Playdays, grooming, and training. But, don’t worry, it won’t be for long! We see this short-term suspension of these services as one more way to help flatten the curve as we work together to fight this pandemic.
Streamlining Your Visit
We appreciate your patience as we navigate these unprecedented times together. We know firsthand that these changes will be difficult, inconvenient, and could cause longer wait times than normal.
To help streamline your check-in/check-out process, we recommend:
- Placing your credit card on file to expedite your payment
- Scheduling your reservation in advance online (required)
- Saving our front desk numbers in your contacts
We look forward to resuming ALL your favorite WTPR services in the very near future. In the days to come, we’ll continue keeping you updated through email, on our website and blog, and via social media. Remember to hug your pups for us and stay healthy.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
