The Canine Spa
Our Certified Canine Stylist will work with you to create a personalized grooming experience for your best friend. To determine the best haircut, we take into account your dog’s breed, coat, size, lifestyle and personality. Then you’ll choose a bath package and any additional services.
All of our spa services come with lots of love, hugs and kisses, so your pup will not only look his best, but will FEEL his best too. Appointments can be coordinated with Playdays and Overnights at Wagging Tail Pet Resort, so book your one-on-one appointment at The Canine Spa today!
At his time, the Canine Spa is available at our Eagan location only. Please call 651-483-DOGS (3647) to make a reservation, or to inquire about future availability in Bloomington.
Benefits of the Canine Spa
- Full-service, on-site grooming services
- Essential and deshedding baths
- Experienced spa stylists and staff
How long does the average haircut or bath take?
Our goal at the Canine Spa is to make your dog’s visit as stress-free as possible, so our stylists work at your dog’s pace and allow breaks as needed. Generally, we allow three (3) hours for each dog. Once your dog’s groom is complete, our Stylist will contact you to let you know when they will be ready to show off their new look!
Can my dog play the same day as their groom?
Yes! If you are scheduled for a groom, your dog is more than welcome to play in our playgroups before and/or after their groom. Additional charges may apply.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Typically dogs should be groomed every 6 weeks. Of course this varies depending on the breed and coat of your dog. Contact us for a style consultation to review your dog’s grooming requirements.
What vaccinations are required for grooming?
All Canine Spa guests must have proof of current Bordatella, Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (D/H/L/P) vaccinations on file.
Leashes & Collars
All dogs must enter Wagging Tails Pet Resort on a leash. We also require that all dogs wear a quick-release, break-away collar.
