Meet Winnie!

Our July Tail Wagger started coming to Wagging Tails when she was only 10 weeks old. At that point, she was too small to romp in the playrooms with other dogs, so she kept our front desk staff company instead. Now 3-1/2 years old, Winnie still prefers spending her days with the staff, especially when it involves belly rubs. Unless the pools are out – then you can find her having fun in the sun!

Winnie’s owners, Jeff, Kelly, and Bella, tell us their Ivory Labrador Retriever may be loveable and sweet, but she also has a naughty, stubborn streak. She’s been known to lay down in The Resort’s entryway and refused to budge. On top of that, she’s an escape artist who’s slipped her collar on multiple occasions, evading capture even with four humans in hot pursuit! Winnie’s owners say it wasn’t funny at the time, but they sure laugh about it now!

What’s the best part of having their “Marley and Me” dog in their lives? “Winnie is unpredictable! She makes us laugh! We love her to pieces,” they said. “She is part of our family!”
