Meet Maggie!

Our October Tail Wagger of the Month is Maggie Lawrence! This happy girl came to Minnesota by way of a rescue group in San Antonio, TX. Maggie’s early life is a mystery, but this loving girl has become a loyal and incredibly protective member of the Lawrence family. While exact details are unknown, Greg and Elizabeth Lawrence know that Maggie is approximately 5 years old, and is a mix of American Staffordshire and Boston Terrier – among others.

Maggie may be protective of her family, but she is also a big baby who loves attention. Playing with her dog friends is fun, but she is almost more thrilled to get loved up by the Wagging Tails staff! A relaxed goofball, she is affectionately known as “Maggie the Lounger” and has a reputation for being laid back. This quiet girl likes leisurely walks so she can take her time, smelling the roses (and everything else!) along the way.

Maggie loves other animals, especially rabbits, deer, and – Greg and Elizabeth think – her bossy, older sister, a cat named Lucy. What is the best part of having Maggie in their family? “How happy she is to see us, whether it’s after we’ve been gone for a few hours or when we pick her up from Wagging Tails,” the Lawrence family tells us. We couldn’t agree more, Maggie’s affectionate and loving personality is infectious – she puts a smile on our face every time we see her!

Congratulations, Maggie! We’ve loved having you at Wagging Tails for the past three years and are looking forward to many more cuddles in the years to come!
