Meet Reuben!

Reuben the Labradoodle joined our pack 1-1/2 years ago when he was just a puppy. This lover boy is a total people pleaser and friendly to everyone he meets. It’s hard to believe he’s two years old now!

During his visits, Reuben loves napping on the red stairs, kissing Libby, and chasing his friends. He also loves playing with his besties outside of Wagging Tails, especially his Doodle neighbor Rex and Nala the Vizsla.

When Reuben isn’t at The Resort, you can often find him playing with his favorite companion – a large stuffed teddy bear that he found at his grandparents’ house! His owners Brian and Shannon told us Teddy is Reuben’s best-loved toy. However, it’s also the target for his frustration that he tackles and wrestles when he’s mad, including moments he’s being ignored (like while Brian and Shannon try to fill out his Tail Wagger of the Month form!).

Shannon and Brian told us that Reuben is a pandemic puppy who requires a companion at all times, and he’s especially clingy with his mama. They also say he’s the sweetest when they’re having a bad day.

But what’s the best part about having Reuben in their lives? “His smiles, his cuddles, and his constant affections,” Shannon and Brian said. What could be better than that?
