Meet Flash!

Two year old Flash! had quite the journey finding his way to Eagan as a puppy. A rescue who was saved by Wags & Whiskers, he was found in an Indianapolis drainpipe with his sister. Unfortunately, their mother was no longer alive and Flash! was in rough shape. With chemical burns on his paws and tail, it was hard to find a group that could care for him but fortunately with the help of vets and a lot of TLC, Flash! made a full recovery and would become eligible for adoption!

Described by his dog mom Amy as “ridiculously smart,” Flash! evaluates situations to determine the best option. This Shiba Inu, Husky, Rottweiler, mystery mix will use rational thought to control his instincts. Amy says that Flash! recently observed a small treat escape from the package, but waited to eat his full sized treat before pursuing it! He also shares his joy about feeding time by howling for all to hear, and likes to remind his dog and cat siblings that he’s the top dog in the house.

In addition to having excellent adventures with his canine brothers Bill and Ted, Flash! loves spending time at Wagging Tails with his Tennessee Coon Hound buddy, Elvis! Whether it’s playing King of the Mountain in the playroom or making the most of Pool Days, Flash! makes every moment fun.

Smart and well-mannered, this bundle of energy is also compassionate. Completely devoted to his human brother Gage, Flash! knows exactly when people need him most and is never far away. Whether it’s romping in the yard or offering support during hard times, Flash! is a very special soul.

What is the best part of having this rescue in their home? “Getting to share our lives with each other,” Amy says. And we love sharing the life of this very special dog too.
