Tail Waggers of the Month

Meet Bella and Leo!

Bloomington Tail Wagger

Bella July Tail Wagger 2017One-year-old Bella has been playing with her friends during “Playday” doggy daycare sessions at our Bloomington location for five months now. An adorable little pug who absolutely adores other dogs, you can tell when she meets a new favorite because she’ll lay on her belly and approach them in a slow crawl!

This youngster adores putting things in her mouth and making sounds come out of it! Whether it’s yelps, groans, or moans, Bella is an incredibly expressive girl who loves making sure you know exactly what she wants and when.

What’s the best part of having Bella in their lives? “She always makes us smile and laugh!” Owners Steve and Jutta tell us.

Eagan Tail Wagger

Leo July Tail Wagger 2017At our Eagan location, Leo the Gordon Setter has been part of our pack since 2012! This handsome five-year-old loves to fetch, play with other dogs, and give his human sitters a cuddle.

Leo is a recently registered certified service dog who is captivated with old and shabby toys. In fact, owner Jeff says, the more beat up the better – especially torn up balls that could be thrown away! Leo treats these toys as though they are new and even has one Jeff calls his “baby” that Leo recognizes immediately.

Jeff says that Leo came into his life right when he needed him most and is incredibly devoted to the people in his life. In fact, Leo has a photographic memory and never forgets anyone special to him. This impressive memory goes beyond faces; it also applies places and even birds that he has pointed out in locations a year earlier!

What’s the best part of having Leo in his life? “The best part is what we learn from them!” Jeff says. “They have so many innate qualities such as forgiveness, kindness, unconditional love, gentleness, empathy, etc. and are unwavering in these qualities. They teach us to not waste any day; treat each day as a blessing!”

We couldn’t agree more. Congratulations, Bella and Leo!
