Meet Mabe!

There’s a lot to love about our May Tail Wagger, Mabe. She’s been a fun addition to our pack since January, and you can usually find this 3-year-old Cattle Dog/German Shepard mix wrestling, chasing, and following her favorite Canine Coaches around The Resort during her visits.

Mabe comes from Missouri and shares her home with owners, Andy and Paris, and a feline sister, Toulouse. We don’t know what Toulouse thinks of Mabe, but her owners adore her extra expressive ears and eyebrows that are always on the move!

Andy and Paris also say that Mabe’s a bundle of energy, and we agree! She loves chasing dogs around – and getting chased in return, especially when it involves her besties: Walter the Golden Retriever, Whinnie the Australian Shepard, Ellie and Sophie the Samoyeds, and Cora the Lab. But, even though Mabe’s excitable, she’s also quick to calm down when the time comes.

When Mabe isn’t enjoying an enthusiastic romp, she loves to relax on anything nearby that resembles a pillow. She’s also picked up a quirky habit – sitting or lying on anything square, from towels and blankets to dog beds. Andy also told us that Mabe gave her mom quite the surprise once when Paris was using the hand mixer. It seems Mabe wandered into the kitchen unnoticed and didn’t like the noise, so she barked at it, causing the unsuspecting Paris to scream in response!

But what’s the best part about having Mabe in their life? “She loves to snuggle on the couch,” Andy and Paris said, “and she always makes us feel loved when we are with her!”
